I am a licensed professional counselor, a certified grief counselor and educator, a certified pet bereavement specialist, and a certified child life specialist. My purpose is to work with you in a supportive, caring, and loving manner as we walk together toward healing. Change in our lives is constant and often goes unrecognized as grief issues. Grief work is a journey that leads you to gently embrace your pain and honor your feelings. My goal is to walk with you through the grief process. My training and experience allow me to sit with you and your pain to provide a space where you feel safe, supported, and heard without judgment. My child life training and years of experience provide me with the knowledge and abilities to work with children, adolescents, and their families who are dealing with acute, chronic, and terminal illness. My 20+ years of experience in providing mental health care includes clinical and administrative roles. I have had the had the privilege to participate in the establishment of the child life programs across the country and here at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  I have worked with children and adults in substance abuse, recovery care and co-occurring mental health issues and to serve as Clinical Director at The Oaks @ La Paloma  in Memphis.  I have also had the privilege of working with colleagues across the country to provide grief and loss, dual diagnosis, addiction and recovery care to many individuals.  I would like the honor to work with you as well.
